Retiring IMDEX boss Bernie Ridgeway is surprisingly candid about a mining industry he says is ‘conservative and bureaucratic’ but is starting to embrace new technology.
It may come as a surprise to hear that long-serving Imdex boss Bernie Ridgeway reckons not much has changed in the mining sector over his 20 years in the game.
The 66-year-old will hang up his boots at the end of this month after heading the Balcatta-based company for two decades, during which it has become a global leader in drilling technology and sub-surface intelligence.
